Josie was born and raised on her family's farm in rural Quebec, Canada and has worked with all kinds of animals ranging from farm animals such as goats, horses, ducks, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, etc to exotic felines and even raised a Royal White Bengal tiger. Josie shares her small house on the lake in Lakewood Village with her 3 dogs Chachi, Mojo and Jackson and an African Grey Parrot named Alamo.
Lisa Gallegos, Professional Pet Sitter/Team Lead
Lisa grew up in Plano and has been an animal lover for as long as she could talk. She loved all pets and her Mom was a good sport and allowed her to have all sorts of small rodents, even a rat; along with the more normal dog and cat – don’t forget the parakeet and duck too. As a teen, Lisa volunteered for an animal rescue and as soon as she was 16 she went to work for her vet until she went to college. While at Texas A & M she didn’t stray far from her animal themed life, she managed a pet shop, was a midwife for horses and worked for the University in the ruminant nutrition department. After graduating with her degree in Animal Science she went to work as an animal services officer so she could help pets who were being neglected and also help homeless pets find furever homes. After trying to ‘fit-in’ in corporate America Lisa was ready to come back to helping pets and their people. Lisa now lives in Little Elm with her husband and son and their seven cats, one dog, three sugar gliders, a turtle, two lizards, and numerous fish.
